What is a braking control system?
The braking control system (now electric) receives, processes and transforms the pilot’s orders (when the brake pedal is pushed) into a braking command. This command activates the necessary energy (now hydraulic) so that the distributors feed the hydraulic fluid under pressure into the circuit, pushing on the brake piston and pressing the disks against each other. The control system constantly checks and adjusts the braking force, and in particular prevents the wheels from locking to avoid skidding or the tires bursting.
