What is a boating capacity study and why is it being conducted?

0

A boating capacity study was conducted in 2005. The purpose was to determine a level for safe operation of watercraft on the lake, to provide a baseline for the BRA to continue to monitor boating use and to aid in the decision making process for future development of docks and marinas at the lake. The BRA had originally planned to conduct a second, follow-up study in 2010. However, at the request of the City of Granbury the study was moved forward to 2009.
