What is a Board Eligible NCC?

0

The Board Eligible NCC status is given to applicants who graduated from a non-CACREP–accredited master’s program. You will be required to complete one additional step in your certification process. Once board eligible, you have three years to complete and submit documentation of 3,000 hours of counseling work experience and 100 hours of counseling supervision completed over a minimum of 24 months after your master’s was conferred. Once you have completed your hours, download the Board Eligible Upgrade Packet. This will be the final step in completing your national certification. We encourage you to use the designation BE-NCC until you complete your hours.
