Most people have heard of GPS, otherwise known as the Global Positioning System. And most people have also heard of Bluetooth. So what is a Bluetooth GPS Receiver?
The short answer is that it is a technology that allows you to use your PDA, smart phone, or laptop as a wireless navigation system using satellites.
Bluetooth is the wireless technology that allows for short range wireless transmissions between two devices. There is an adapter which is built into the devices or in a card form to allow the two devices to communicate with each other.
