What is a blackberry (the phone type not the fruit)?
It’s an enterprise solution, and a data device primarily used by professionals to have constant connection to email. It also had word and excel capabilities. Blackberries require Internet service to make the most of their capabilities, which runs $30-$70, depending on service provider, and whether or not you need international capability to use while roaming. They are manufactured by RIM (Research in Motion). Newer ones are bluetooth capable, and there are primarily 2 types: one with full QWERTY keypad, which is the easiest to type on, and one with more of a phone factor, and two letters on each key. You can also use them as a phone, in which case you need two plans: one for the data usage, and one for the minutes.
