What is a Big Tick?
The first level of award is our Big Tick – these are awarded to all entries in a category that achieve a specific national standard, which is set by our assessors each year. The Big Tick award is a public acknowledgement of a company’s programme of work that indicates that the entry demonstrated significant evidence of positive impact on the business and the wider society and that it has reached the national standard that year. Approximately 35-40% of entries each year are awarded a Big Tick.
