This information isn’t used to make the actual liner, but rather to identify which model of tub you have. The liner manufacturer has hundreds of molds of the most common tubs, and is able to mold a sheet of acrylic to a mold of your tub model. Because everyone’s wall thickness and floor height varies, the liner is made oversize where it meets the walls and floor.
