What is a “Bargain Book”?
A Bargain Book is one that is considerably marked down in price, typically 40% to 80% or more. These books are most often, but not always, publisher’s remainders or overstocks (i.e., the publisher makes a small mark on the book’s edge with a pen or marker to identify it as a left-over). All bargain books are new, and most have never even been opened.
