What is a backup set ? How do I restore files as of a backup set?
A backup set identifies a set of file versions that were backed up during a single backup operation. A backup set is identified by the start date and time of a backup. A backup set also allows users to restore point-in-time versions of files to their computers. In the Restore tab , You will find the ‘Backupset date/time combo selection box. From this list of backup sets, one may restore files as of a particular backup date and time. Selecting a backup set from the combo list shows the point-in-time view of the files.
