What is a B cel?
A ‘B cel’ is the next level down from ‘A cel’. It covers a wide variety of cels. Profile shots with the eye open are generally B by default unless the image is very small, the expression is poor or there is very little of the head on the cel. Slightly pulled back shots (waist up) that are faily centered with the eyes open tend to be B cels as well. These shots again take up less of the blank space on the acetate. Large images with gaping mouths can also be considered B cels.
