What is a 24hr mountain bike race?
For those newcomers, the 2008 Scott 24hr Mountain Bike Race is a two-day mountain biking event that tests riders’ skills and endurance over a demanding course. Riders compete solo or in teams of up to ten, to complete the most laps in the 24 hour period. More than 8,000 riders and spectators are expected at the $7.5 million Stromlo Forest Park. Stromlo Forest Park is Australias most advanced, purpose-built mountain bike park with cutting edge courses and internationally-accredited mountain bike tracks.
