What is 4.5 and 10 Tog rating on the duvets?
A Tog is a unit of measurement for the warmth of a quilt. It can also be shown as grams per square metre. The rating is important because depending where you are cruising will depend on the tog rating. TMS recommend a 4.5 tog for summer use or warm climates. However you will be given the opportunity to have either a 4.5 tog or 10 tog duvet with your order. If you tend to use your boat at colder times of the year then we recommend that you go for a 10 tog Duvet this is made up of 2 duvets that are held together by press studs. If you get warm you can simply remove one of the duvets and be left with a light weight summer duvet. You then can put them back together as the nights get cooler giving you total flexibility.
