14kt Gold-Filled metal is brass with 1/20th by weight of 14kt solid gold material layered & chemically bonded to the surface of the brass “core” material. This is a much thicker layer of gold than any plated material, and has a higher gold content than 10kt or 12kt Gold – Filled material. Gold-Filled beads are sturdy and have the quality you expect from gold with more durability.
