Past and present Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Chairs Joe Canciamilla and Lois Wolk have asked the Governor to study the removal of the dam. He has agreed to do so. A draft of the study should be available later this year. Assembly Member Tim Leslie has also called for consideration of removal of the dam.
