What intramurals are available on campus?
• Individual counseling • Confidential counseling is offered to assist with personal development as well as to address specific personal difficulties. • After conducting a thorough assessment, the Counseling Center offers a range of treatment options on a short-term basis (six to 10 sessions), or, if extended treatment is needed, students may be referred to local mental-health professionals. • Group counseling • Group counseling may be offered to students who might benefit from interaction with peers experiencing similar difficulties. Such groups are used to address a range of issues, including relationship difficulties, depression, struggles with food, the effects of sexual assault or abuse, and gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender issues. • Psychiatric services • Three board-certified psychiatrists assist in the provision of medication to students in need of such intervention and are available to make recommendations to students and professional staff regarding the role of such medicatio
