Support for RIF is just starting to become available (see Implementations), so there has not yet been much opportunity to develop applications that use RIF. This IBM developerWorks article discusses storing and querying rules in an XML database, and includes a live demo with RIF rules. Some envisioned representative usage scenarios for RIF are outlined in the RIF use cases. Please report any applications or uses of RIF to public-rif-comments@w3.org.
