What instruments was Johann Bach best known for?
Johann Sebastian Bach was known best for his organ works. Bach was a master of the organ and therefore wrote many of his greatest works for it. Even though organ was his primary instrument, he was also known for being able to play violin well. However, his most famous works are his keyboard works, especially those for organ. Presuming you mean Daddy J.S.Bach and none of the other Johann Bachs’ then Violin (Concertos, solo Sonatas and Partitas) Clavier (he worte a prelude and fugue in each key liked it so much he did it again known as the Well tempered Clavier Books) The 6 cello suits, Organ (he improvised imbetween services in church and then went home and wrote them down). Bach’s also well known for the St. Matthew Passion which is an absolutley wonderful work!
