What instruments are welcome in the RockStar program?
Any instrument that can be played in an amplified band situation is welcome. Some possibilities are electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, sax, flute, trumpet/trombone, harmonica and of course vocals! If you have a question about your instrument call the instructor (phone number below). Electronic keyboards do not need to bring an amp, just a 1/4″ cord to plug into the PA system. Some instruments that might not work are violin, acoustic guitar, mandolin, dulcimer and ukelele (unless any of these are electrified by means of a pickup and can be plugged into the PA system. Amps will not be necessary for these instruments, but you must bring a cord with a 1/4″ end to plug into the PA).
