What inspired the idea?
Robert had a gut wrenching feeling that something was going to happen and the only solution was with an underground shelter complex. His first thought was to find an abandoned mine shaft that could be converted to accommodate up to 1,000 people for a year. Over the years, he realized that was more difficult to locate and construct than expected. The current Vivos spoke and hub design was born out of the need to have as many complexes spread across the country as possible, at the lowest cost, to make it affordable for co-ownership.
