What inspired the comic-book spin on the classic management how-to book?
Wannabe executives have jammed their bookshelves with management-theory books, but not many of those are actually read. Why? Most business books focus on the bottom line and strategic thinking, but leave out what’s really most important: people. We wanted to talk about business in a way that recognizes how real people are affected and how people affect business. We also knew that a business book only works if it conveys a lot of information. We thought the comic-book format would deliver that information powerfully.
