What injuries are commonly reported after a Yamaha Rhino rollover?
The most commonly reported injuries are broken bones, damaged muscles, and crushed arms or legs. These accidents occur because as the Yamaha Rhino begins to roll over, passengers and operators put out arms or legs either instinctively or in an attempt to try and stabilize the vehicle. When the vehicle continues rolling, the limb is caught beneath the roll cage and crushed beneath the 1100-pound vehicle after it comes to a stop. In at least one case, a young girl (aged 12) who was injured in this fashion later died.
