What information would be helpful when calling or e-mailing the Online Learning Office?
When you contact the eLearning Office at 253-589-4534 or distance@cptc.edu, please include the following information: 1.Your name, username (student ID number), e-mail address, and the class(es) that you are taking on Angel. 2. Your Internet browser name and version number. To find version number, click on the “help” menu and then “about”; that will tell you the version of your Internet browser. 3. Whether you are using a PC or a Mac. 4. Whether you are on a dial up or broadband Internet connection. 5. If possible, the exact error message you are receiving. You can print screen the error message by Alt + Print Screen and then pasting it into your e-mail message. 6. Time of day this error occurred. 7. What you were doing when the error occurred, ex. taking an assessment, posting to discussion board, uploading a file.
