What information must be included in the student assent form?
Students should be asked to sign an assent form written at a level children 7 years of age can understand (see English and Spanish assent) that briefly and simply describes the purpose of the study along with an overview, from the child’s perspective, of what s/he will do in the study and how much time their participation will take.
