Set Pressure (PSIG) *Set pressure, generally as pounds per square inch (psig), is the gauge pressure at which a safety valve visibly and audibly opens or a setting at which a relief valve discharges a continuous stream of liquid. 4. Temperature (Operating and/or Relieving) 5. Backpressure (If any, please indicate constant or variable) 6. Service (steam, air, gas, etc., including any applicable codes or standards) 7. Capacity required, if available (GPM, SCFM, LBS/HR, etc…) *Required capacity is the percentage of measured flow at an authorized percent overpressure permitted by the applicable code.
