We use whatever is provided. We appreciate working from finished CAD drawings, but we realize this is not always possible. Often our questions can be cleared up with a phone call to the patent attorney. With the attorney s permission, we will contact the inventor if further information is necessary.

CAD drawings are always nice since it does not require much work on our end. If you don’t have CAD drawings a prototype is the next best thing. Most of my clients don’t always have CAD files or prototypes. In this case, I ask for any sketches, descriptions or photographs to help us get started.
