What information is collected during the registration process?
The only information collected during the registration process is your username (also known as your IT ID, AD username, or your CISUNIX username) and your computer’s unique hardware address (also known as a ‘MAC’ address). You must submit your password along with your username to confirm your secure registration, however that password is never stored during the registration process. These two equally-important pieces of information will be used to contact you in the event your computer becomes infected or a risk to the integrity of the UNH network.
