What information is available to assist facilities which are required to develop a clinical and related waste management plan?
A. S43 of the Environmental Protection (Waste Management) Regulation 2000 requires blood banks, hospitals, laboratories, multi-service medical clinics and veterinary hospitals to develop a clinical and related waste management plan. Whilst there is no set format, s44 sets out the matters to be considered in the plan.
