WHAT INFORMATION DOES THE SAFEGUARD VALUATION DOSSIER CONTAIN?
Our items of finished diamond jewellery are passed to SafeGuard Quality Assurance Limited at the Assay Office and undergo a series of testing by independent gemologists. They examine the diamond and the accompanying certificate, the workmanship and the hallmarking etc, take digital photos of the item and log all the details on their national computer lost-and-found database. A dossier is produced for our clients with a digital photo, a full specification of the item of diamond jewellery and a value is assigned to the item, reflecting what you would expect to pay in the high street for an item of diamond jewellery of similar size and quality. The dossier also comes with full explanatory notes. For single purchases of diamond jewellery with a value in excess of £10,000, we will provide a luxury jewellery portfolio which comes presented to you in a leather bound wallet, as part of our package.
