What Information Does Marymount Manhattan College Collect?
In the course of ensuring network security and consistent service for all users, Information Technology department at Marymount Manhattan employs software programs to do such things as monitor network traffic, identify potential unauthorized access or access to nonpublic information, and to detect computer viruses and other software that might damage College computers or the network. Software is also used to monitor and tune the performance of the College network. In the course of such monitoring, these programs may detect information such as IP addresses, e-mail headers, and addresses from network packets.
