What information does CiscoWorks ICM need from the other LMS applications?
A. CiscoWorks ICM interacts with Common Services, Resource Manager Essentials and Campus Manager. For CiscoWorks ICM to function, RME and (therefore Common Services) must be installed. Installing Campus Manager is optional. –RME—Inventory information is collected and stored in RME database, particularly the port information. CiscoWorks ICM uses this information. –Common Services—CiscoWorks ICM relies on the infrastructure pieces, such as Tomcat, Apache, backup/restore, etc. –Campus Manager— CiscoWorks ICM obtains the VLAN information.
