In addition to specific requirements defined in a job announcement, an individual applying for a CAP position (GS-14/NH-IV and above) must meet minimum AAC requirements. Membership requirements can be found on the Army Acquisition Home Page (http://asc.army.mil/). They are: • TRAINING: Certification at Level II or completion of Level II Training in an acquisition career field. This can be achieved by either completing the courses or, when allowed, submitting an Alternate Fulfillment Package for approval. Alternate Fulfillment Packages are not accepted for courses that are totally web-based; they are, however, accepted for hybrid courses (part web-based and part classroom). • EXPERIENCE: Four years of acquisition experience in a DoD acquisition position, or in a comparable position outside DoD. • EDUCATION: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution AND 24 business semester credit hours; 12 business hours are acceptable if the individual has 24 hours in an acquisition career
