What Information Can You Give About The Characteristics Of Dominique Francon, In Ayn Rands Novel The Fountainhead?
The characteristics of Dominique Francon are almost similar to that of Howard Roark and he thinks of her as his peer. In the novel when they first meet, Howard Roark has come to do some work in her house and the moment they look at each other, the peer to peer contact was forged and his longing for her is so intense that he comes to the house in the night and sleeps with her. One thing is quite unique to her is that she enjoyed creating trouble for him and he enjoyed her troubles by facing them with dogged determination. In the novel you will find that she supports him in planting bomb also in a building and that says that like Howard Roark, she also can go to any extent to do what she believes is right. With her character, Ayn rand has tried to show that how an individual can be a true companion to an individual who are pursuing the same goal in their life.
