What information can bidders get about a property?
– As well as standard Home Information Pack’s, the buyers solicitor obtains a survey of the value of the property for mortgage purposes and it’s general condition with a snagging list giving estimated costs of essential repairs. This is visible to all buyers before the auction. The cost of the survey is paid for by the successful bidder through the buyers premium (currently set at [1,000]).
