Customers communicate bad order or rejected car information to the CPR MaxTrax coordinator (MaxTrax@cpr.ca), copying in CST car control for the appropriate service area, using the bad order spreadsheet. The bad order spreadsheet contains the company, station name, rejected car number, reason for reject, grain shipping week, destination of order not fulfilled, and whether the car was going to be used to for CWB grain or not. The CPR MaxTrax coordinator banks bad order cars by customer and by corridor. CWB bad orders will be banked as CWB cars that can only be requested by the CWB as allocation. Customers can request banked bad order cars as allocation from the CPR’s MaxTrax coordinator up until Monday, 12:00 CST, seven (7) days prior to the grain shipping week in which the cars will be shipped in. If accepted, customers will submit accepted banked bad orders into GCRS. Customers can place the allocation from their bad order bank into any station.
