What influences the cost of producing phosphate?
Phosphate rock production costs are affected by ore thickness, consistency, continuity, depth and concentration (ore per tonne of phosphate rock). Phosphoric acid input costs are primarily impacted by costs of phosphate rock and sulfur; solid phosphate fertilizers are further impacted by the cost of ammonia.
