What influences or habits can insult the normal colon functioning?
Unfortunately the list is long. The large intestine, like all the parts and pieces of our gastrointestinal tract, is a sensitive miniature ecosystem much closer in design and function to a river or a garden than any kind of man-made machine. Often many of our dietary and lifestyle habits are mechanical and routine and simply do not take into account the simple organic nature of our anatomy and physiology.
