What industries does India have?
India have many industries. One of the main industries is the film industry- hundreds of Bollywoods films are made each year. Steel industry- The iron and steel industry in India is over 122 years old. Tata Iron and Steel Company (TISCO) is the biggest. Other major steel industries are Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Bbilai Steel Plant, Durgapur Steel Plant, Rourkela Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel Plant. Automobile Industry- The automobile industry in India is the ninth largest in the world. In 2009, India emerged as Asia’s fourth largest exporter of automobiles, behind Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
