The clip is drawn/bent/cut by machine tools, so that involves the machine tool industry. The clip is packaged into something using machinery. There is an industry that specializes in making those machines. The package is made out of paperboard or plastic, which each have separate industries dedicated to making those materials. But what about the trucks that haul the paper clips to the store. That involves the automotive industry. What about the tires the truck rides on (rubber industry)? What about the fuel that powers the truck (petroleum industry)? What about the concrete roads the truck drives on? And so on, and so on, and so on….. . . .
