What incentives does Miami offer to productions?

0

The State of Florida offers an Entertainment Industry Financial Incentive where qualified productions may receive a cash rebate of up to 22% of their Florida qualified expenditures, up to a maximum of $8,000,000, provided they spend a minimum of $625,000 in Florida on Florida cast, crew, businesses and vendors. For smaller, independent films, there is a separate incentive queue for films that spend between $100,000 and $625,000 and are produced by Florida residents. There is also no state sales tax on qualified motion picture and television production equipment purchases and rental, or on goods manufactured or produced in Florida for export outside of the state. For detailed information on these and other incentives, please visit the Incentives section of our website.
