What in the world is “Beer Pong”?
It’s a drinking game played with beer. There are 2 teams (each with 2 people, although it can be adapted to 2 teams with just one person). Each team sets up 6 cups in a pyramid (some people play with 10 cups in their pyramid). Each side has one water cup for washing the ball (it’s a pretty gross game…the when people don’t make their shots the ball will roll all over the floor, under couches, hit people’s shoes, etc. thus the need for a washing cup). Different people play with different house rules (ex. guys can finger/girls can blow–the ball that is. If the ball is going into a cup on your side, if you’re a guy you can try to pop it out using one finger, if you’re a girl you can blow at it from any angle to try and keep it from going in the beer). But the basic idea is: Each player on the first team gets to throw one ping pong ball to try to get it into a cup on the other team’s side. If they do, the other team has to drink that cup.
