What improvements are planned for the parks off leash area?
The City of Calgary Parks is currently in the preliminary design stage and is seeking input from park users on ideas for improving the off leash area. Comments received from the May 3 2008 public information session will be reviewed when developing improvement plans for the off-leash area. Improvements will be designed with the goals of: – Sustaining current off-leash park use. – Maximizing use of the off-leash park space. – Creating new, desirable destinations, to reduce use pressures in the parks natural areas.
