First off, there isn’t a direct connection between UV rays and global warming. Global warming and the greenhouse effect are about the retention of heat (infrared) by greenhouse gases. Reflecting UV rays would be more about the ozone depletion problem than global warming. Anyway, the problem with putting S particles into the atmosphere (strange idea!), is that they’ll get transformed into SO2 then SO3 then H2SO4, and you replace the other problems with a serious case of acid rain.
