Ethanol from corn will continue to playa major role in helping the US address its needs for renewable energy sources. BP aims to expand its biofuels business while also developing new biofuel components and processing technology to enhance overall expansion of biofuels. Since all biofuel components are based on agricultural feedstocks, we believe that our plans will have a positive impact on farming in the US.
