What impact will Fibronol have upon my Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms?

0

Many fibromyalgia patients suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) characterized by frequent diarrhea or constipation — often going back and forth between the two. Fibronol includes magnesium and aloe vera as ingredients and there is some concern that either one can aggravate pre-existing diarrhetic conditions. Six of thirty-six clinical study patients dropped out of the Fibronol study due to aggravation of their IBS (i.e., diarrhea) symptoms. Thus it is possible that Fibronol may negatively impact your IBS symptoms. If these conditions arise, we recommend that you consider replacing some or all of your Fibronol dosing with FibroBoost — which does not include any magnesium or aloe vera and contains only SEANOL (the primary Fibronol active ingredient). FibroBoost will deliver many of the same benefits of Fibronol. However, fibromyalgia patients with pre-existing IBS conditions should gradually build up their dosage levels of Fibronol and/or FibroBoost to avoid potential aggravation
