What Impact has Educational Technology had on Higher Education Teaching and Learning Practice?
Dr Rob Phillips works in the Teaching and Learning Centre at Murdoch University, Perth Western Australia. He has worked with educational technology since 1992 and has a background in theoretical chemistry and computer science. He combines thorough pedagogical knowledge with strong information technology skills. Rob was responsible for the implementation of the WebCT Learning Management System at Murdoch and he now plays a role in educational policy development. He spent some time managing Murdoch’s Open and Distance education areas. In 2007, Rob was a Senior Consultant to the Carrick Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education on the development of the Carrick Exchange, a social networking system for the identification, dissemination and embedding of quality individual and institutional practice into the higher education sector.
