Regional cooperation is a key starting point for the Arava Institute. Research teams include professional scientists and environmental activists from Jewish and Arab communities in Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority. We have conducted successful trans-boundary research in air pollution, renewable energy, biodiversity, water resources and management, and sustainable agriculture, producing results relevant to the region. No other institution in Israel has the track record we have in this regard.
