Tagged Image File Formats (TIFF or TIF): 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 and 32 bit images. Uncompressed, CCITT G3 1D, CCITT G3 2D, CCITT G4, Packbits, ZLib (deflate) and JPEG. Tiled and multi-page TIFF’s are also supported. Joint Photographic Group (JPG): 8 bit greyscale and 24 bit true colour with support for variable quality, progressive marker and optimised Huffman codes. Bitmap (BMP): 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 bit images with Windows or OS/2 format. Non compressed and RLE (Run Length Encoded). However, a 24 bit RLE image is not currently supported.
