What image editing program is best to use with the magazine cover templates and digital backgrounds?
The templates are optimized for all versions of Adobe Photoshop and our free tutorials use Photoshop as their examples. If you do not have Photoshop, it is possible to purchase it without spending hundreds of dollars. We recommend Adobe Photoshop Elements 2. We don’t sell Photoshop, nor do we recommend any particular seller of the program. Any version of Photoshop will work with the Magazine Cover Templates, but Photoshop Elements 2 can be purchased on the secondary market i.e. eBay or Amazon for around $15-$20. Elements 2 can do 90% of what the professional versions can do and everything need to use the magazine cover templates and digital backgrounds at a fraction of the cost. It’s Adobe’s job to convince you that you can’t do without the latest and greatest version. This may be true for active advanced professionals; but one can attain a level of advanced-intermediate before noticing any limitations. This is a sincere tip from those who know nearly all available programs.
