What if Vanderkamp is not affiliated with our church?
Vanderkamp welcomes families of all denominations. Like many other Christian camps Vanderkamp is affiliated with a particular denomination. In our case, it is two! We are a cooperative ministry of the Presbyteries of Cayuga-Syracuse and Utica and the Upstate New York Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Vanderkamp provides diverse programs and shares the mission of bringing your child closer to Jesus Christ and sending him/her home with a renewed interest in church and Christian education. A quality Christian camp experience should strengthen your child’s interest in spiritual matters.
