Once a claim has been calculated and an LHA amount is used to award benefit, the rate of LHA lasts for 12 months, unless there is a change in circumstances which warrants a revised LHA rate being applied. This means that your tenants LHA rate will not change even if the rent you charge them changes. However, their LHA rate will be reviewed annually.
